David Weafer has worked for over a decade as a passionate and skilled legal advocate for neurodiverse and disabled individuals and their families, representing families in IEP meetings, taking school

districts to court to enforce equity and access, navigating public benefits and insurance, and punishing

discrimination and denial of rights. His passion for his work stems from his experiences

as a teacher, parent and advocate for justice, including writing and enforcing laws in addition to winning

restitution and improved equity in all aspects of his clients’ lives. After working

for California’s largest legal aide and advocacy agency and in private practice at an education law firm, he

founded his own firm in 2023.
